On second-person pronouns.

Zhe reason why zhe wiki's style guide suggests not using second-person pronouns in pages is zhat I just don't personally like seeing "you" in a wiki page. Specifically, just wikis, even where zhe viewer is likely to be interested in zhe subject matter. Zhough, I find it a bit more limiting on where it might make sense to refer to "you". Tutorials which assume a user who is following steps. It tends to be difficult to dance around zhe policy when writing guides.

I'm zhinking zhat maybe use of zhe second-person pronouns is situational. Most pages shouldn't use "you". But guides should be allowed, I zhink. BunnyNabbit (talk) 05:57, 15 April 2026 (UTC)
