There are 32 emerald parts in Gassy GaoGao.
Emerald parts are grouped into four. This makes nine groups which equal to the number of goal crystals. With the exception of the ninth crystal, the game keeps two distinct record lists for each goal crystal: one without the emerald parts and one with its associated parts.
Collecting all 32 emerald parts is necessary for obtaining the ninth goal crystal.
